If you are looking for a way to use your essential oils in a fun and festive way, to spread some Christmas cheer?
Try our DIY Candy Cane Sugar Scrub, made with our doTERRA Peppermint essential oils, its a sure bet to awaken the senses, calm the body and soothe those aches.
You only need a few, readily available ingredients and you can easily personalise it by using different colours and essential oils. My favourite is Holiday Joy or Peace, in alternate layers with Peppermint.
Make your own DIY Candy Cane Sugar Scrub!
diy beauty products
¾ cup white sugar
½ cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
12 drops Peppermint oil
Skin safe food colouring
In a bowl, combine the sugar and the Fractionated Coconut Oil together.
Divide mixture equally into two bowls.
In one bowl, add red skin safe food colouring.
Using whatever jar you either want to store the scrub in, or gift it from, layer the scrubs by alternating the red and white scrubs to create a "candy cane" effect.
Run a nice warm bath and scrub yourself to enjoy!!
Tip: In place of white sugar, you could use sea salt. In place of Fractionated Coconut Oil you could use almond oil, grapeseed oil, or olive oil.
