How to Use Essential Oils for Laundry?

Washing Machine Cleaner
If your washing machine smells musty or moldy, it might be in need of a good cleaning. To keep mold, mildew, and soap scum at bay, give your washing machine a weekly wipe down and a deep clean every month. Fabric Softener

Essential Oil Linen Spray

Simply combine 30 drops of essential oils and ¼ cup of witch hazel (you can use rubbing alcohol in place of witch hazel) into an eight-ounce spray bottle. Shake well and fill the rest of the spray bottle with distilled water. Spritz over sheets, pillowcases, towels, or over the clothes in your closet for fresh, clean-smelling linens.
Here are a few ideas you may consider for the best essential oils to use in your linen spray:
- 15 drops Lemon oil and 15 drops Lavender oil
- 15 drops Douglas Fir oil and 15 drops Grapefruit oil
- 15 drops Peppermint oil and 15 drops Lime oil
