Energy Boosting Shake

Energy shakes are a favourite shake in our household! 

I tend to reach for it when I am craving something sweet as it naturally has a sweet and creamy flavour, which is a perfect replacement for the unhealthy sweets.

Due to the banana addition it has a thick and creamy texture, it is a great way to start your day as it gives energy and you won’t feel hunger for a good long while afterwards. Now, I am not saying 'skip breakfast', after all, it is the most important meal of the day! But, if you like me and find you can't stomach brekkie until late morning, if any, then a shake is the perfect addition to the morning. 

Benefits of the shake? 100% raw cacao can lower blood pressure & improve circulation. Bananas are high in potassium which is good for your heart health & blood pressure, aids digestion support, supports in reducing pain and fatigue and are a great source of vitamin C. Coconut milk can help support weight loss, contains antioxidants, prevents heart disease, promotes healthy skin & hair and has anti-infammatory properties.
