This fabulous box contains everything you need for the perfect afternoon Tea, and it's all gluten free & vegan too! So, if you are gluten free, gluten intolerant, have Coeliac disease our gluten free afternoon tea hamper is perfect for you. Great for enjoying with a friend or sneakily keeping it all to yourself!

The afternoon tea has been a popular delight since the mid 1800's, over the years there have been veriations and new items added to the tea and it has gradually evolved to what you see before you today. Whilst the meal is open to perception, many try to stay true to its roots.

We pride ourselves in providing bakery products that are all free from gluten, dairy, eggs and soya. Additionally we do not process any of the 14 common food allergens as described by EC regulations, within our bakery.

Scones - The piece de la resistance of any British summer afternoon tea in the garden! The question is… jam first or cream?!

Chocolate Brownie Couverture – Not quite a brownie, not quite a cake. This luxury brownie couverture will convert any wheat eating, non-vegan eagle-eyed brownie connoisseur! A delicious treat for all to enjoy.

Coconut & Cherry Bakewell – The closest thing to a nut free, gluten free, vegan cherry frangipane style that we have tried. Our Cherry Bakewell mini loaf is a yummy bite sized tray full of coconut pieces with a juicy cherry filling.

Brazilian Carrot Cake – The Brazilian carrot cake is a special twist on the traditional carrot cake. The carrot cake is a luscious smooth cake, topped with a delectable layer of the finest vegan chocolate.

Coconut, Banana and Ginger Slice –This surprise variation on the old skool banana loaf, is an enchanting, fantabulous loaf for all to enjoy.

    The hamper does contain some fresh products that are best stored in the fridge once delivered. 

    Last but not least. We continue to strive to be as sustainable as possible and wrap our products in Natureflex™- a compostable film made from Wood Pulp, which you can compost at home.

    Products and shelf life

    SAVOURY PANINIS, LOAVES, BOULES & ROLLS.
    Average 7 days at room temperature. But best kept in chilled. Suitable for freezing for 3 months.

    FRUIT LOAVES.
    Average 7 days at room temperature. But best kept in chilled.  Suitable for freezing for 3 months.

    CAKES.
    Average 7 days at room temperature. But best kept in chilled.   Suitable for freezing for 3 months.

    WRAPS & SAUXSAGE ROLLS.
    Average 7 days at room temperature. But best kept in chilled. Suitable for freezing for 3 months.

    DRY MIXES.
    Average shelf life of 3 months to a year.

    All our savoury products are made using a minimum amount of salt and sugar. Avoid direct sunlight, avoid storage in any area with a temperature more than 20 centigrade and avoid storage in any area with high humidity. All products are suitable for home freezing. We recommend slicing the breads before freezing, putting them back in the bag and freezing them on the day you receive your parcel. They can be toasted from frozen.  The products will also last longer if kept in the fridge.

    Bakehouse Delivery Charge Breakdown

    We aim to deliver bakery orders within 3 working days from and endeavour to always dispatch within the quickest time possible. During peak seasonal periods this may vary slightly.

    Orders of £1 to £10 - £6 delivery charge

    Orders of £10.01 to £20 - £5 delivery charge 

    Orders of £20.01 to £30.01 - £3.50 delivery charge 

    Orders Above £30.01 - free delivery

    Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man & Northern Ireland. - £15 delivery charge

    All deliveries are dispatched using DPD Express, next day service, for non-mainland areas/remote areas (Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man & Northern Ireland), please note deliveries usually take 2 days.
